Suss was a University self directed project that provided me with the opportunity to expand on my UX and UI. It was based on a topic that I felt would provide me with skills of current trends and targeting 2 particular audiences.

All progression was documented in a report and the outcome was 2 main deliverables
- Pitch document
- App prototype

Suss is a brand that has built an application to aid shoppers and allow users to discover sustainable brands on the high-street. This app will work with companies to provide data on the process behind the fashion. This discourages any shoppers for assuming all high-street clothing is bad and provides insightful information at what they should be looking out for. It gives opportunities for promotion, reaching a difficult audience in terms of fashion and provides a way for companies to play a large part in helping the planet.
Suss can increase wellbeing through physical activity and can reduce loneliness of not being around people. The sharing part of the app is important for creating awareness of being sustainable. This can be done by sharing it on social media stories or sending to a friend, this again increases social behaviour. The economic contribution is that it will increase shop footfall and therefore helping to keep profits up in the retail industry and will provide more need for jobs and selling assistants. In terms of the environment it can help to increase the consumption of sustainable clothing to help reduce the harmful impacts fast fashion has on the planet.
The app has a fresh clean design to reflect the aims and ethics. Positive colours are used throughout to fill every screen on the apps journey with something worth sharing.

The user design compliments the user experience by having all key features of the app on the bottom bar. Making it clear and easy for the app to be used on the go. The UI works to meet your needs and constantly bringing sustainability as well as educating the user. The wardrobe feature allows the user to swipe to explore it further, creating the impression of using a wardrobe. This familiarisation helps the users experience to be easy.
The sticker on the left is the main Suss note that is 500mm by 400mm. It notifies people who are sustainability conscious of the shops nature. The sticker below is for the stores that also contain a Suss donation point in them. These can be located on the app to encourage people to bring their clothes along before they shop.
