Elevate is app for people who are dealing with food intolerances. This projects aim was to create an effective design for multiple devices. Elevate allows you to track what you have been eating in order to uncover any allergic reactions to particular foods and to compare it to your moods. This website was also targeted at people who were looking to try out new ways of eating to improve wellbeing and mental health. In addition to this feature it provides information on food alternatives, plans and what to eat on the go helping the users journey through the website.

The process for this project involved considerable research and user testing in order to produce a successful design.
The colour palette was a based off research into feel good colours and what illustrates positivity. A lot of health apps use greens and blues, allowing them to be lost against other competitors.
Photography is used throughout the design to help the user to be inspired and to move between pages and unlock the full potential of the website. Food plays a considerable part in this website as it is regarding cutting out certain groups. Therefore, the pictures need to ease this process by showing enticing alternatives. The colour palette within the pictures is often vibrant to contrast the minimalistic style of the platform. This allows the pictures to connect with the audience, and more focus is placed on the content and navigation in assisting this journey.
The design system I’ve created aims to assist the users journey to achieve their goals. Research suggested the importance of a quick process to input data to reduce the time taken to write food diaries. This is the reasoning for having the add button feature on every page in a bold style. In addition to this I aimed to limit the amount of information on the screens, to lower the chances of the consumer being overwhelmed by text. This was done using a tab process the separates the topic into sections.
